Welcome to Life Compass™. We wrote these Terms in plain English because we want you to actually read them. They explain what you can expect from us and what we ask from you — so we can keep helping you make wiser decisions with clarity and confidence.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kirkwood Capital Ventures LLC ("Kirkwood," "we," "us," or "our"), operator of Life Compass™ and the Infinite Logic AI Life Intelligence Platform™ (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. Who Can Use Life Compass™
Life Compass™ is built for adults. You need to be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. By signing up, you're confirming that you meet that requirement.
2. Your Account
Please keep your login private and let us know right away if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens under your login, so give us accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Some features require a paid subscription. We'll always show you pricing, billing cycles, and renewal terms at checkout — no surprises. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime right from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; we don't refund amounts already paid unless the law requires us to.
4. What We Ask From You
- Use Life Compass™ honestly and legally.
- Keep your account personal — please don't share it, resell it, or use it for someone who hasn't agreed to these Terms.
- Remember that Life Compass™ is a guide. You're always the one making the final decision, and you're responsible for it.
5. Things Not to Do
Out of respect for our community, please don't:
- Break the law or infringe someone else's rights.
- Upload content that's harmful, hateful, defamatory, or harassing.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its AI responses.
- Rely on Life Compass™ in an emergency. For crisis support, please visit our Safety Center.
6. Who Owns What
Life Compass™, Infinite Logic AI™, the Life Intelligence Platform™, and everything we've built around them — content, software, branding, design — belong to Kirkwood Capital Ventures LLC or our partners. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use it all for your own life.
The reflections, journal entries, and answers you submit ("Your Content") belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them for the sole purpose of running Life Compass™ for you — nothing more.
7. What AI Can and Can't Do
Life Compass™ uses Artificial Intelligence to help you reflect and decide. It's a powerful tool — but it's not perfect. AI can be incomplete, outdated, or occasionally wrong. Please use your own judgment and talk to a qualified professional for anything important. Our AI Disclaimer explains more.
8. What We Can and Can't Promise
We deeply believe that wiser decisions lead to better lives, and we'll work hard to help you make them. But we can't guarantee any specific outcome in your relationships, family, finances, business, health, faith, community, or legacy. Real life has too many moving parts, and most of them aren't ours to control.
9. Our Legal Responsibility
Life Compass™ is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't offer warranties beyond what the law requires. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kirkwood Capital Ventures LLC and its affiliates won't be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. If something does go wrong, our total responsibility to you will not exceed the greater of what you paid us in the previous 12 months, or USD $100.
10. Closing an Account
You can close your account whenever you'd like. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are seriously broken, or if we honestly believe it's necessary to protect other people or Kirkwood.
11. Updates to These Terms
As Life Compass™ grows, these Terms may evolve. When they do, we'll update the "Effective" date above and, for anything meaningful, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the update.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
